From arrival to departure
The published inclusions cover the academic programme, accommodation, programme meals, organised visits and activities, the London excursion, a formal dinner or gala, residential welfare provision and Heathrow transfers within the specified programme time windows. Heathrow transfer windows will be shared with families before the programme.
Personal and other travel costs
Flights, personal spending, expenses unrelated to the programme, transport to or from airports other than Heathrow, and travel outside the specified Heathrow transfer windows unless expressly arranged by OGE.
No compulsory extras
There are no compulsory add-ons, hidden programme charges or optional academic supplements.

Scholarship support
We believe that exceptional academic opportunity should be open to talented students from a wide range of circumstances. In 2026, around 40% of Oxford Summer Academy students received some form of scholarship support, including three students who attended on full scholarships.
Scholarships are awarded primarily in recognition of academic promise, intellectual curiosity and the contribution a student could make to the Academy. Financial circumstances may also be considered where a talented applicant explains that the full fee would otherwise be difficult to afford.
For 2027, we remain committed to supporting exceptional students and enabling more young people to take part in the Academy. Scholarship requests are considered as part of the application process and awards remain subject to assessment and available funding.
How to apply
The cohort is deliberately limited in size, so that every student is taught as an individual.

Through our online application form: the student’s record, subject choices, and a short statement we ask them to write themselves.
- Interview
We read every application ourselves. Successful applicants are invited to a real academic conversation with the student alone, closer to a tutorial than to an interview.
- The offer
A personalised offer letter that says why: what came out of the interview, and what we think you will get from it.
- Enrolment
