Oxford Global Education
For senior leaders

Executive Leadership Programme

Where global leaders gather. Two weeks in premium Oxford University college accommodation, examining what effective leadership requires in a world shaped by disruption and rapid change.

Summer 2027
The programme
I

Leadership is examined as a practice, not presented as a list of slogans.

The Executive Leadership Programme brings together senior leaders from industry and government with Oxford academics. Over two residential weeks, participants test decisions, compare institutions and examine what effective leadership requires when the evidence is incomplete and the consequences are real.

Setting

Residential in Oxford

Premium Oxford college accommodation and an environment built for serious conversation beyond the formal sessions.

Cohort

Industry and government

A deliberately cross-sector group, so assumptions can be tested against people working under different constraints.

Teaching

Oxford academics

Academic seminars and case discussion in leadership, strategy and governance.

Two tracks, one room

Public and private institutions face different pressures. Their leaders still have much to learn from one another.

How the programme works
II

The programme moves between evidence, judgement and application.

Formal teaching is balanced with small-group discussion, individual reflection and cross-sector exchange. The aim is not to hand participants a universal model of leadership, but to sharpen how they read a situation and decide what it requires.

01

Interrogate

Question the assumptions beneath a familiar leadership problem.

02

Compare

See how the same pressure behaves across sectors and institutions.

03

Decide

Work through choices where every option carries a cost.

04

Apply

Translate the discussion into a clearer approach to the participant's own organisation.
